Our small kennel is located in Wellandport Ont. near St.Catharines Ontario. Our goal is to breed boxers that are happy, healthy and sound in mind so they are a pleasure to live with as pets and show dogs. Every litter here at Kasanova kennels is home raised and properly socialized before they go to their new homes. Our dogs live with us in the house and are very important part of our family. We purchased our first boxer Britnick's Dr. B (aka Spencer)in 1998.

Shortly after my husband and I attended our first dog show the Boxer Club of Canada puppy match with Spencer where he won it under very respected breeder judge Ben DeBoer. To come home with our baby who was best puppy in match was more than a thrill, we were hooked on showing, with hopes to breed our first litter one day.

Our Spencer finished quickly often going BOB, and 1 year later we purchased our foundation bitch Britnick's Sugar Bush (aka Tera.) Tera started her show carrier with outstanding 5 point win going BOW with myself handling. After that she finished her championship very quickly. She was later bred to Spencer and our first litter of three boys was born. Now we share our home with six boxers and have bred 4 litters.

From our second litter we produced a beautiful flashy fawn boy Ch.Kasanova's Storm Chaser (aka Jax) who is our first home bred Canadian Champion, and who we hope will be one of our great producers.

We owe our success to our breeder, mentor and friend Debbie Nicholls and many more breeders whose guidance and years of experience will never be forgotten.

My advice to newcomers and pet owners is to do your homework. Talk to as many breeders possible and to gain knowledge and appreciation for the boxer breed
